Wells Thong Lo Virtual Home Learning

The last month has been challenging for all of us as we adapt to a new type of lifestyle that includes online learning. Our students, parents and teachers have done a great job simulating classrooms and facilitating learning virtually.

Here’s our students working hard and having fun learning at home.

Check out HaEun from K3A Monkey Class exploring her 5 senses at home. This looks like so much fun!
K3A has been making new connections using everyday items they can find at home. With great support from home, they have also been getting creative with how they share their work. Great job!

G1’s are doing an amazing job with online learning. This helps the teacher’s see the students from another perspective. We are gaining insight and making a bigger connection with our students through technology.

G1A is learning all about the ocean. So, we would like to give a big shout out to  Momoko in G1A. She did a fantastic job using her presentation voice to explain   “Why is the ocean salty?”

Great job Shruti from K2A, love your mini-lesson on non-standard weights, mass, and measurement using your home-made weigh station! K2A continues to learn and grow at home, taking what we practice during our live zoom classes and then showing what they know in their own mini-lessons.

K3B has been learning about patterns over the past few weeks.  Here, Chisaki does an ‘action pattern’ showing her good memory skills, creativity, and physical abilities.  Well done Chisaki!

K3C – Owain takes us around his house on a vowel hunt.

K3C – Konoe shows her knowledge of prepositions with a fun video.

As part of the K3 unit on seasons and weather, Samaira made a beautiful cloud.
