On November 11 2017, Wells held a soap making workshop hosted by Bangkok Soap Opera. This project was a collaboration between Love Ocean Life club and Greenhawks, both of which are clubs that focus on protection and conservation of the environment. Commercial soap can contain harmful carcinogens such as Sodium Laureth Sulfate which can not only be harmful to the human body but also to the environment as these chemicals move from our drainage pipes and end up in the rivers and the oceans. Hence, with this soap making workshop, the students learned how to make soap using vegetable oil which is a more environmentally friendly alternative to the commercial soaps.
