Grade 1B has been focused on reading for the month of March. We have particularly focused on Dr. Seuss books. Students have read titles such as: Horton Hears a Who!, The Cat in the Hat, There’s a Wocket in my Pocket, Green Eggs and Ham, and The Sneetches, among others. In order to celebrate our students’ hard work, we spent a day getting comfortable in our pajamas and reading by the fire. Students came in the morning wearing their favorite night outfits and with their coziest blankets. Everyone grabbed a book, got comfortable and began reading. After a full morning of reading, we shared snacks and stories. To finish up our day we watched The Lorax and watched one of Dr. Seuss’ famous stories come to life on the screen. Keep up the reading Grade 1B.
