Exploring what it means to go on a journey

Journeys, journeys, journeys! In our fourth unit of first grade, we searched for different types of journeys and why people go on them. We considered types of journeys other than traveling (or going from one place to another,) and discovered that we all go on meaningful journeys at some time. We were even able to read We’re Going on a Bear Hunt to see different ways to go on a journey, and what you may find at the end. Our final project was to create a stop-motion animation to show how something or someone can change on a journey.
