On Friday, Aug 30 2019 all Wells Thong Lo parents were invited to attend a BACK TO SCHOOL BASH! During this event parents had the opportunity to meet with their child’s Homeroom Teacher for an overview of the Wells early years and primary programs and find out what to expect from the year ahead. Teachers shared specific information about arrival and dismissal – buses, snack, lunch, volunteering opportunities, classroom schedules, and special activities. Parents also got the chance to work with their child to make ‘wishes’ for the coming year, and discussed how we, as a class and school can make those wishes come true.
Thank you to our families that took time out to attend the first event of the year and help our Wells Community grow. The first chapter of school life is an exciting time for children and their families. The initial steps in a child’s learning journey should be filled with excitement, anticipation and wonder about what lies ahead. Our goal is to help children and families feel comfortable, safe and happy here at Wells Thong Lo.
