Wells’ Spirit Day
Wells Primary School brought the noise for Wells’ Spirit Day held on Wednesday, September 12. At 2 p.m. the students of the primary came out to support and cheer the Wells varsity girls volleyball team as they played International School Eastern Seaboard. Wells secondary students helped teach and lead the cheers, which the younger ones repeated with gusto. Face-painted slogans added to the excitement and fun. This activity was a great opportunity for the younger students to build school spirit as well as watch and interact with their older peers. The primary students definitely had fun, and most were reluctant to leave when the bell rang to end the school day. The primary students must have had a positive effect, as the Wells girls volleyball team soundly beat their opponents. Good job Primary!
