Under 13 and 15 Girls teams garner wins vs BCIS, 23-2 and 32-15
On Nut – The Lady Seahawks continue their winning ways with two more routs against the teams from Bangkok Christian International School (BCIS) Tuesday afternoon. Following in the footsteps of their senior counterparts, Wells’ youngest all-girls team dominated from start to finish in the first game of the double header, led by point guard Kanny’s 12 points. Wells nearly blanked BCIS in a game marred by fouls due to Wells’ sometimes overly aggressive defense. After the dust settled, the Under 13 Girls team ran away with a 23-2 victory.
The second game of the doubleheader, at first, seemed show promise as the first real challenge as Wells led by just 4 points after the first quarter. However, by the end of the game, it was more of the same as the Under 15 Girls team easily beat BCIS 32-15.
On the boys’ end, it was a completely different story. Despite a bit of controversy regarding player eligibility, two games were played at BCIS with both Wells boys teams being soundly defeated. Better luck next time!
