On Saturday, May 25, the Class of 2020 hosted ‘Carpe Noctem’, a prom for the graduating Class of 2019. The Grade 11 students organized a photo booth for the guests, as well as activities such as Wells BINGO and the newspaper game.
The Grade 11 hosts presented sashes with superlatives unique to the personality of each member of the graduating class, as well as ‘Seniors’ t-shirts. Some of the members of the graduating class also gave special performances. A special cake was also presented to one of our departing Wells teachers, Mr. Toni, followed by a heartwarming speech by him.
Overall, there was plenty of good food, dancing, laughs and photos to make it a special and memorable event for our Class of 2019. Thank you to the Class of 2020 for hosting and Seniors, your presence and role modeling will be missed!
