On Friday, March 9th, representatives from Mahidol University visited our On Nut Campus to give a presentation about their biomedical engineering department and potential research internships for our high school students. The director of the program, Dr. Norased Nasongkla, spoke about the various degrees, experiences, and international opportunities students who enter these programs are eligible for. Joining Dr. Nasongkla were current Bachelor degree students, as well as alumni, who answered questions about their own journeys in the program, as well as shared some of the equipment they have been developing with our students.
Professor Nasongkla has opened up internship opportunities for our high school students in their various research labs in the biomedical engineering department. High school students may apply for summer internships by the end of this month with a CV, statement of purpose (SOP), and transcript.
Wells would like to extend a warm thanks to Dr. Nasongkla and his students for bringing this knowledge to our students, and for giving them the chance to partner with Mahidol students to learn more about this up-and-coming biomedical engineering field.
