International Day is a day for the entire school to come together and celebrate the diversity of our student, teacher, and staff population, as well as recognize, appreciate and learn about other cultures around the world. This event nicely aligns with our ESLR of Global Citizenship and the IB concept of ‘international mindedness’. In an increasingly diverse world, our goal is to continue to remain open-minded to worldwide diversity and differences, and to practice acceptance and respect as an international attitudes.
Theme 2018: International Attitudes
Our international mindedness stems from the attitudes we hold about international cultures and places. This year, we wish to celebrate the various attitudes and mindsets that contribute towards making the world a better place, as reflected in our school ESLRs and IB Learner Profile. Whether these are characteristics displayed by great leaders and figures, or national or worldwide perspectives, our attitudes are the way in which we can come together to understand differences and maintain peace for a brighter future.
Join us on Friday, March 16th at Wells International School – On Nut Campus. For more details of the event and schedule, please refer to the following document.
