K3/ Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Academic instruction and curriculum development: Build a strong literacy program to encourage reading. Knowledgeable about the US curriculum and student development. 
• Differentiate instruction: Identify and adapt to students’ diverse learning needs, while fostering a culture of inquiry learning
• Social Emotional Learning: Help students navigate social and emotional learning experiences
• Communication and Professionalism: Maintain and foster strong parent-teacher relationships through effective communication. Consistently collect and utilize student data to create optimal learning opportunities. 

Qualifications

• Citizenship Requirement: Native English Speaker 
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education (e.g., B.Ed., M.Ed.) AND a Teacher’s License/Certification is essential. 
• Experience: Previous experience as a classroom teacher is preferred, but not required. 
• Skills: Strong pedagogical knowledge, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and familiarity with K-12 educational technology tools.
