Last week (November 13 – 17), the High School Student Council hosted Spirit Week 2017, a week dedicated to raising school morale through conducting inter-class competitions accompanied with a set of activities. Each day had a theme, starting with Pajama Day on Monday.
The following days included Triplet Day and Disney Day, where students had to dress up and impersonate their favorite Disney character. Thursday’s theme was used to promote raising awareness for men’s health with Movember and mustache-themed class photos.
The final day of Spirit Week found students representing their class colors and graduating years. One could feel the unity and enthusiasm through the halls of Wells as students worked together to complete their daily photo and video challenges aligned with their ESLRs related to communication and ICT use.
A special thanks goes to the High School Student Council for organizing Spirit Week, Photography Club for capturing the moments, and to all those who participated and showed their school spirit!
