High School at Wells On Nut
The Wells International School’s High School community offers a supportive and challenging program to prepare students for university. In addition to offering the AP Capstone (grades 10-11), the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme or IBDP (grades 11-12), Wells offers an American-style high school diploma program from grades 9 through 12. Our school has many different nationalities represented in our community in our English-speaking environment, and we do offer additional ESL support up to grade 10 for eligible students. We also offer a wide range of extracurriculars such as numerous student clubs and school teams that students are encouraged to join to help them enter a top university.
We believe in treating students as fellow human beings who deserve support through classes and after school office hours for students who request or need them. Here is our high school mission statement that people in high school created to reflect our actions and goals for each student:
Provide care, support, and inspire growth, self-reliance, and 21st Century Skills.
High School Student Council
The Wells International School’s High School Student Council was formed first in the year 2012 and ever since, the tradition of maintaining the council was upheld until today. Aiming to build and fortify the bridge of information between students and the Administration, the High School Student Council hopes to embody the thoughts of the student body and act as a representative of their voices. In this particular year, as a team of inspired and a motivated group of delegates, the High School Student Council is striving towards making this academic school year worthwhile. We look forward to our fellow students’ input on issues and participation in events. Thank you for your constant interest and support.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee of the High School Student Council consists of 4 main roles: The President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. The Executive Committee interacts with the High School Administration Team to propose anything the Council sees fit to be proposed for the betterment of the school community. As the heading figures of the Council, the Executive Committee wishes to become role models for diplomacy and structure for the years to come.
Spirit and Events Committee
School Spirit and Events Committee’s main role lies in the planning, organization, and execution of several student-initiated events, as well as assistance in general school events. The aims of the committee are to create enjoyable and meaningful events for the students during certain festivals, such as Halloween and Christmas, and to raise school spirit and student morale through events such as High School Spirit Week, game nights, and awareness weeks. Bringing together Student Council representatives and passionate members of the student body, the committee transforms the school into a lively interconnected community.
Student Voice Committee
Student Voice poses as a direct link between students and the administration. The committee’s main role is to organize and create spaces in which students feel comfortable to voice their opinions, concerns and suggestions for improvements related to the school community. The greater aim in doing so is to work towards the continuous improvement of everyone’s overall experience at school.
Clubs & Community Engagement Committee
The Clubs & Community Engagement Committee’s main role is twofold:
- to focus on actively engaging clubs to ensure clubs are taking initiative, being actively involved and contributing positively in the school community; and
- to collaborate with our internal Wells community (primary/middle school, other Wells campuses) and the local community (inter-school, local organizations, etc.) to build and strengthen interactions, as well as create positive changes within both communities. This may take the form of awareness campaigns, service projects, volunteer work, and related collaborative events in order to facilitate interactions and unite Wells and the local and global community.
“Join us, and make a change.
